But don't get me wrong, the wrt320n/e2000 is still a very worthy router, i still use it actively in my setup, i just been messing with the wrt400n alot more lately, dd-wrt on atheros is very different, seems way more features, like pppoe server, and super channel, thats just not in the broadcom builds, also another curveball is my wrt400n can So I had this router for quite a while. I bought the EA2700 when I moved to the US, without doing much research. That was a mistake. I had a bunch of the famous WRT54GL routers before and was super happy with them, mainly due to the flexibility of installing an alternative OS on it, which unleashes a lot more power and functionality. ON the website and other user has uploaded WRT320N Firmware on E2000, and then uploaded the DD-WRT firmware on it. Basically i feel its a workout, If it worked then it will work fine, if it doesn't then it will create a problem for your router. If you wish to upgrade the firmware on your Router you can give a try and check. I have been trying to set the ethernet port speed and duplex on an ASUS WL-500GP and WL-520GU using DD-WRT build 15508. I have been trying to change these settings from the System, VLAN WEB tab but unfortunately no matter what combination of port speed and duplex I choose the speed and duplex do not change. I suggest having the main router connected to the internet and nothing else, the e2000 connected only to a computer in order to configure it. 1,) open the web form for the router which will be the main NON-Bridge router, get its IP address. 2.) With only the e2000 connected to the computer, open its web configuration page.
